This year has been filled to the brim with NEW and invigorating dance experiences: the US premiere of Jan Bartoszek’s visionary META | MOR | PHOS in April alongside LA-based choreographer Mike Tyus’ Syzygy; and in November the debut of THREE world premieres, including Rigo Saura’s K@02 and work by Chicago-based choreographers Noelle Kayser and Jenna Pollack.

We stride into 2024 with renewed vision to cultivate powerful, innovative dance work while mentoring the next generation of artists.

• Spring Concert of New Works, April 5-7, 2024 | Featuring two guest choreographers AND work from Hedwig’s own dynamic and incomparable dancer, Paula Sousa.
• Annual Hedwignites Gala and Award Ceremony, June, 2024
• Fall 2024 we begin a robust season of engagements to commemorate our 40th Anniversary Season.

All the while, we will continue to foster the development of young and emerging artists and realize Hedwig’s signature dance and design aesthetic in fresh and compelling ways.
