For 41 years, Hedwig Dances has created visually compelling contemporary dance that connects cultures, provokes wonder, and sparks meaningful dialogue. Led by Founder & Artistic Director Jan Bartoszek, recipient of the 2024 See Chicago Dance Legacy Award, Hedwig is known for creating innovative interdisciplinary dance, mentoring artists, and cultivating community. • NEXUS: THREE PREMIERES, April 24th, 25th + 26th, 2026- ONE WEEKEND ONLY, THREE SEPARATE SHOWS, at the Ruth Page Center, reprising an iconic trio of Bauhaus-inspired works choreographed by Founder and Artistic Director Jan Bartoszek.
• CENTER STAGE AT PAGE, Friday, March 20th at the Ruth Page Center, Hedwig Dances joins the in-residence companies of Ruth Page Center for an unforgettable weekend celebrating its dance artistry and featuring incredible live performances!
• OPEN COMPANY CLASSES, Thursdays from January 22nd - April 9th, a series of consecutive classes featuring three incredible company artists from our Spring 2026 season- Heriberto Meneses, Olivia Gonzalez, and Milo Sachse-Hofheimer.
